This is a photo I got off the web of  someone else's 66 Chevelle SS396 with factory air, which is typical of almost every other picture I hav e seen on the web of similar cars.  Notice the two items in the yellow oval.  






Notice the  yellow oval in the picture below which is a picture of my Chevelle. While it seems the POA valve and that other thing might be missing on mine, they are in fact mounted out of sight, inside the left fender!  I am curious as to the significance of this difference.  The other thing is that the condenser on my car is a little different than others in that instead of the hose connecting at the top, there is  a metal pipe that runs from the top connection down the side so that both hoses connect near the bottom of the condenser.
