If you zoom in (hold the Ctrl key and hit the + key) you can see that the welds have completely filled the space in between the two panels. You can see a patch by the door jamb just above the seam where it looks like someone used molten lead to fill a hole or low spot. Guess I am going to have to heat that up with a torch and wipe it out with a rag to see what's underneath the lead.
