Here the new floor and rocker panel are in place and the rough opening has been cut out leaving extra material around the edges to screw the new panel to. I had originally planned to have the seam under the chrome triim neaer the top, but the replacement panel did not have nice sharp corners and the crease at the middle was more rounded than angular. A good body man could sharpen that all up but it was beyond me so I opted just to replace the bare minimum required. In the end, I was glad I did.
