Had trouble trying to figure out where to weld the seat brackets to the floor with the rails mounted on the seat. So I built this jig that I made on the bottom of the seat to get a accurate template of the bolt holes on the bottom of the seat and while the horizontal pieces were bolted to the seat, I welded the vertical pieces on to keep things square. Then I unbolted the jig off the seat and bolted it to the rails (in place of the seat). So now I could see how the brackets would line up without the seat in the way. I did this using the original rails and brackets so that I knew everything was as close to original as possible and when I substituted my home made brackets, if any thing didn't fit, it would be my home made stuff that needed adjusting, not the brackets I had welded to the floor.
