When I bought my bucket seats, the guy told me they were all the same from 62 to 65 in Chev, Pontiac, Buick etc. What he didn't tell me was that while the seats were the same, the mounting brackets were not. Unfortunately, there seems to be a shortage of proper mounting brackets for the Impala buckets, so when I finally found some, I decided to leave them intact and use them for templates to make my own brackets. The idea being to recoup my money by reselling the originals after using them to make my own.
