On the first spring, I ran the straps over the top of the top control arm in a criss cross. The pressure left marks in the paint from the straps, so I thought I would be smart and run the straps under the control arms. Not a smart move as once I had the springs installed, I could no longer raise the upper contol arm to get my strap hooks thru. So I had to cut the straps to get them out.
