It took me a month of Saturdays to get the first spring installed. I would not recommend this job to anyone. I am sure if I took it to an alignment shop to have the springs installed it wouldn't have cost me the time nor the money that I spent on getting these springs installed. I experimented with spring compressors, ready rods, home made devices and ratchet straps and it finally took all three to get this spring into place. Here is a side by side shot of one spring instaled and the other not. The uninstalled spring is 18.5" tall. The installed spring is about 13" tall when compressed between the two control arms.
