Impala Page 4 This was a sight to behold. A brand new floor from firewall to trunk with all the braces attached and the holes drilled and nuts and washers welded in place.
 
On the right is a shot through the windshield looking towards the trunk. The floor is just clamped in here for fitting. The trunk braces have been trimmed to fit the floor in and we will weld those back together afterwards. There's about 6 spot welds each place one of those braces touches the rest of the car. This saves us from drilling out about 48 spot welds. Also, see the new rocker panel below which is not welded either, just test fit. Checked the door fit to be sure there was no sag in the body. OK!
