Again, cut through both layers so they would line up perfectly even if my cut was crooked. Couldn't get the clamps in the area above the wheel as the inner fender is very close to the outer fender in that area. So, had to tack pieces together until I got to an area where there was room to put those clamps in. Don't know if I would use those clamsps again. For one thing, they leave quite a gap betweent he two pieces of metal that is hard to bridge without burning holes. Secondly, they don't always do a perfect job of keeping the two panels in alignment.
