All welded in. The extra welds above and below the line are from screw holes. There's a lot of them because I didn't get it right the firs time....or the second time. I had been using that crease just above the joint as my alignment guide but the bump at the very back of the car was throwing things off and I didn't realize it at first. I eventually had to cut that bump off the old piece and then things fell into place.
