Without thinking things thru I had welded the inside reinforcement in place inside the rocker panel before realizing that it tied into this angular curvy piece that reinforced the inside rocker. I tried taking it apart when I realized my error, but it turns out that these were some of the best welds I have ever done and trying to undo them was just wrecking both pieces. So decided to scrap these two pieces and order replacments. I ordered the rocker from the same guys I ordered this one from using the same part number from the original invoice. What I had forgotten was that they had oritinally screwed up my order and substituted this in place of the part on the invoice. At the time, it worked out really well for me because the original item was just a patch not the whole rocker and they wound up giviing me the part I needed at no extra charge. Unfortunately, this time they sent me the patch panel, which was not what I needed nor expected. So I decided to repair the damage I had done on my original piece and try reusing this one which worked out ok in the end.
