A total of 9100 cars of this model and year were made.  1/2 were 6 cylinder and the other half 8 cylinder models.  This car is one of 2786 units with the 283 and power glide.  If 10% of these cars survived, this could be one of about 278 still in existence.  the 1965 NOVA SS had the lowest production run of any SuperSport model next to the first year SS optioned 1961 Impala, of which only 453 were produced - 142 with the 409.

Car has pushbutton radio with rear seat speaker, heater, EZ Eye tinted glass, Powerglide Automatic Transmission, currentl motor has a 305 bottom end and correct (1965) 283 heads tied into a 1969 Turbo 350 with shift kit.  Original 283 has about 7000 miles on a rebuild and original power glide is also included.  Click on the motor to zoom.

This is a rare classic car and is offered for restoration only.  Minor body work is required and original interior needs replacing. Glass and chrome are all good and complete (although not all currently installed).
