This is my good friend Dave Elson who has helped me on my Chevelle, my model railroad and is also giving me a hand with the Impala.  It really helps that he's a mechanic.  I just wish he could speak English better!  Really Dave, what the heck is a boot or a bonnet?  










This is a model  kit that I got from my daughter for Christmas.  I spent many hours making this look like my Chevelle. All the extra chrome that didn't come with the kit, the black vinyl roof. etc etc.  Then at the Taber car show last summer it got so hot inside that little plastic housing that it melted the whole back end of the car.  Note to self: Don't leave anything on the black vinyl roof in the summer time.
